Victoria Park

See & Do, Attractions

Victoria Park, as it is today, opened to the public in 1906 and is designated as an Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) as well as a Special Protection Area (SPA). Bird lovers will enjoy spotting greylag geese, blackheaded and herring gull, heron, mute swan, mallard, tufted duck, and pied and grey wagtail. There are two walking trails around the outer and inner perimeter of the lake, a play park and Eco-Trail.
